Great Eastern Cutlery Company started producing heirloom quality cutlery in 2006. They produce pocket knives under their trademarks of Northfield Cutlery, Tidioute Cutlery, and the namesake Great Eastern Cutlery.
All Great Eastern Cutlery Company stainless pocket knives are made under the Great Eastern Cutlery brand. Although there are some special order models made in 420HC, all general production Great Eastern Cutlery branded items are 440C to date.
Great Eastern utilizes the Tidioute Cutlery trademark for their standard product line. No frills down to earth work knives. Tidioute Cutlery pocket knives are 1095 steel and made to last a lifetime.
Great Eastern Cutlery Company's premium line of pockets knives are the Northfield UN-X-LD series. They are the same high quality as the Tidioute, but typically have a few extras such as swedge cut blades, lined/pinched bolsters, etc.
